Anger Management

Anger-Management-flyer-update

Anger Management is the recommended treatment for those experiencing problems stemming from anger control issues. These issues can include alcohol or drug use, interpersonal conflicts, legal issues, occupational, recreational or familial areas of functioning. Anger Management’s goal is to assist the individual to recognize important internal and external cues that contribute to the incidence of aggression and develop strategies for appropriate social responses.

Anger Management is offered, both through individual and group formats, through the Center for Effective Living.  Individuals often come to us for an anger assessment after legal difficulty, or after adverse actions in school or employment settings. A risk management assessment is the first step toward determining if the individual has an anger management issue and if so, the recommended course of action.
